York has a reputation for ensuring that orders are placed in the most effective manner possible. Thus, most listed orders are executed DIRECTLY on the New York Stock Exchange or American Stock Exchange.
We DO NOT sell your listed orders for payment for order flow!

Experienced traders know the value of our high-quality order executions. The example below demonstrates the power of price improvement:

  • Quote of XYZ Stock: 31.25 to 31.50.
  • An order is given to Buy 2,000 shares "at the market."
  • The Specialist guarantees execution at no more than quoted offer of 31.50, executes trade at 31.40.
  • Price improvement is the difference between guaranteed price (31.50) and execution (31.40)--or .10 (10 cents) per share.
    2,000 shares multiplied by 10 cents = $200 Price Improvement!

    The inside Best Bid, Best Offer Quote is the worst you should do, that is why we place your order on the Principal Exchanges. It costs York NYSE fees, however we feel the savings to our clients is well worth the added costs.
